Evida is a pretty unique artist in the sense that he has the ability to tune out pop hits consistently with 'City of the sun' being the latest. The song starts off with a ticking metronome and for a moment you're left thinking 'where is he going with this?' before the beat suddenly drops. There are so many things I love about this song. I have a thing for melodies and deliveries because it keeps the listener on their toes. It creates little moments throughout the song that you wait for. My favourite example of this is when Omi Kobi's voice has a chance to shine towards the tail end of the song and based on the gradual build-up in production you would think that Evida would bring the beat back for one last drop, but no Evida went for more of a 'soft drop' to bring the song to an end. This song is arranged so well that I feel like it's like 4 mini songs, each with its own chorus. I need him to drop 'Mirror For A Miracle'. ASAP!
