What an amazing story Elaine has to tell with her music career. From studying at Wits University to chilling at McDonalds with her friends writing songs regularly, to then recording music in the res bedroom of Clxrity and Elizee, and to finally debuting her EP, 'Elements' to the whole world in September 2019 - Elaine had no idea that the EP let alone be it her debut body of work reach the ears of music lovers all over the world.

22-year-old singer-songwriter Elaine started off her 2020 musical year in April with the release of her very first music video for the ultimate fan favourite single, 'You're The One'. This music video was directed by visual artist Shala Martin [publicly known as Shala The Unicorn] and reached one million views in just a month of its release. We all knew that we have a national treasure in our hands, ready to carry the R&B sound of South Africa to the World. Two months after the release, Elaine's 'Elements' EP had reached platinum status. This has been the biggest news as this is incredible for a debut project from a newcomer [she's no longer classified as a newcomer]. Mind you, the project was just nine months old at that time!!!

Undoubtably the newcomer of the year of 2020, Elaine continued her fiery reign when she released her 'Risky' music video [directed by Nape Phasha] just four months after the release of 'You're the one' music video, which is now sitting at an impressive 3 million views! 

Today, the Shining Star, sits comfortably with an astonishing 7 million YouTube views for her first ever music video 'You're The One'. Her most watched music video to date! Huge congratulations are in order to the Columbia Records and newly graduated singer on her success story which is still to be told.
