“A bittersweet journey that I had to endure with myself before I met an extra-terrestrial being,” says Espacio Dios of his upcoming "Panorama Route EP" set to drop worldwide on the 8th of October 2021. This will be the artist’s first release under his newly inked global publishing deal with BMG.
As part of the new project, Espacio Dios has teased the lead single, "Insecure" due for release this Friday, the 3rd of September 2021 featuring vocals from newcomer James Deacon and new wave up-comer, Fettiboy Jim. Talking about "Insecure", the producer / artist said, “it’s about the liberation from my insecurities and growing to live with them and embrace them.”
"The first feature, Fettiboy Jim, was in the first version of "Insecure" that I made in 2018. I found it again and recreated it and then with James Deacon, I discovered him when we were performing at Music4Masks live stream event, and checked out his music later on. I thought he was super dope and gave him a call. I wanted him on another song but I just decided that he’d also kill it on "Insecure". There was also no intended sound, I just went with the flow and it was all based on feeling and how I felt in the moment about it." Espacio mentioned.
Espacio Dios had this to say about his forthcoming EP, "Panorama Route" - "This EP was not only inspired by my trials and tribulations of the past but was also inspired by the Panorama Route itself, in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Viewing the multiple landscapes on the Route evoked a journey to self-acceptance and finding peace. Each location on the Panorama Route, from the Bourke's Luck Potholes to The Three Rondavels, had eroded years after and left behind the beauty we see now. The beautiful chaos of the natural attractions connects to the bittersweet feeling of the EP."
