@SabbyTheDJ Set To Release His #NextUp EP This October

By @itsmanjobruh on 08/26/2021 in News

Former Yfm radio presenter and now Metro FM radio host, DJ Sabby is set to start the new season with some real heat! The Best Thing Ever is scheduled to be in the month of October as DJ Sabby has officially announced that his EP, 'Next Up' will be released to the public by then.

It may seem sudden but the radio dj took the initiative [back in May] to support and help uplift rising artists when he announced that he will be doing regular Instagram Live videos to pick out the talent that he can help by giving them a platform to start from.

"The EP will feature a new wave of talent to be on the lookout for. No genre specifics but it must be sounds I fuxx with! Pull UP"

The beats were sent and over 600 of the submissions had DJ Sabby locked in for five hours straight, trying to figure out the sound approach for the upcoming EP;

From the hundreds of submissions that were sent, the top twenty artists were picked out and they happen to be names many are unfamiliar with (as this is the core purpose of this EP). Some of the common names that made it are; 'Yizo Yizo' maker Leezy Lindokuhle, Mr 'It's Not A Chicken, It's A Rooster' Kevi Kev, GTwizz and Holy Alpha. Congratulations are in order to all twenty participants who are possibly next up.

No specific release date confirmed but will be in the month of October. Listen to the exclusive teaser below;
