According to RiSA.org.za, they are a "Trade Association of South African Record Companies with members who have a common economic interest in the recorded music industry in South Africa." RiSA is also responsible for issuing Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum certifications in South Africa. 

Does RiSA Charge For Membership?

As of the 14th of June 2021, RiSA will charge an administration fee of R100.

How Is RiSA Funded?

RiSA is funded by levies and membership fees.

What Is An ISRC Code?

The best definition of an ISRC code is from Ditto.com and according to them, this is "The International Standard Recording Code  (or ISRC code) is a unique identification system for sound recordings and music video recordings. Each ISRC code identifies a specific unique recording and can be permanently encoded into a product as a kind of digital fingerprint".
