@1020cartel's @Anzo_Islwane Drops Lead Single 'Dlala' From Upcoming Debut EP "3310"

Hailing from the majestic hills of Estcourt, KZN, multi-talented storyteller, rapper, songwriter and  vocalist Anzo presents his upcoming debut solo music project, '3310'.  

On the back of his highly acclaimed contributions on the two-time SAMA nominated compilation album iSAMBULO and a chart-topping feature on MusiholiQ’s “Gawulubheke”, which also  features label-mate Sjava, Anzo leads his highly anticipated drop with the single “Dlala”. 

Dlala (Zulu word meaning “play”) is the second track on the six-track EP titled 3310 (3310 being  the postal code of Estcourt).  Produced by industry veteran and dynamic producer Vuyo Manyike, Dlala delivers an afro-soul,  dance sound that easily teases a feel-good mood out of the listener.  

This track was written to inspire those whose youth is behind them to continue to live their lives  to the fullest; with zeal, jubilation and an expectation of good things to come.  The song communicates a message of encouragement which disapproves the unspoken  perception that the elderly have fulfilled their purpose and no longer have a role to play in  modern day society.  

The track is most importantly an invitation to get back in the game and “dlala”, set the tone for  the future generation and impart their wisdom on how they use to play.  Anzo has always expressed and created from a place of vulnerability and says, “it has been a long  time coming, this project is personal to me and tells stories of things I have experienced and seen  in my lifetime, which I strongly believe connect me to every single one of my fans.”
