Musical artist Faith K finally releases her anticipated music video for 'Moyeni'.
The video, a blend of a 80’s nostalgia and modern visual techniques depicts Faith and Thabsie squad deep. The visuals are directed by Nigel Stockl and highlight Faith and Thabsie living in full colour and partying the night -away in the streets of Soweto.
“Moyeni” directly translated means air, and through the music video, Faith K tells the story of how she is on her own level and it feels like she is walking on air. The song features Cape Town born songstress Thabsie, the new school R&B vocalist, popularly known for her hits ‘African Queen’ and ‘Ngiyaz'fela Ngawe’.
If you missed it Faith K initiated a dance challenge called #MoyeniDanceChallenge which is to get her fans involved while still promoting the song.
“This song is a celebration of girls and I'm so excited about this music video! The track is about feeling good, being cocky and enjoying a night out with your friends celebrating your goals and achievements” says Faith K.
This song is at the intersection where culture meets tradition with the girls celebrating their heritage through Hip Hop.
