Slam Eazzy returns to bring his fans a heartfelt Afro/Trapsoul sound with his long awaited first official EP, The Philogynist. The EP is a follow up to his 2020 Jabulile single and dropped on the July 2, 2021. Slam recorded the EP at “7thWave Recordings” in Tembisa, Gauteng which is where he met the likes of Bigstar Johnson who is also featured on the EP. With the help of engineer, Shakespear Nkosi, Slam worked with three different producers namely IX CiGt, JooniarXKhemmet and Zolile_3k to compose these songs.
On his latest offering, Slam Eazzy, the Orange Farm born and bred artist has collaborated with the likes of Benlay, Leverage, King Sweetkid and 'the S'gubu hitmaker' Bigstar Johnson to create this well-structured love story. The Philogynist is a word used to describe someone who truly admires and
respects women, and through these songs Slam Eazzy demonstrates this role perfectly.
