21-year-old Durban-born breakout rapper and producer, Sihle Sithole mononymously known as Blxckie gets named Apple Music's Africa Rising artist.

Blxckie represents a new wave of musicians that are both a product of their roots, as well as mainstream culture, and his energy and excitement have brought a renewed vigour to the SA Hip Hop scene. 

Apple Music’s Africa Rising, is an exclusive artist development program and companion playlist geared towards identifying, showcasing and elevating rising talent and introducing the next generation of African superstars.
