South African rapper, singer and model Sithuthukile Nonhlakanipho Yolanda Khumalo better known as Thuthu, was born in and raised in Port Shepstone, on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. She started rapping at the age of 9 years old- around the time when Lil Wayne was the biggest rapper in the world, and picked up the skill of rapping just by listening to his music.
