It has been almost three years since the release of Cassper Nyovest's "Sweet And Short" album, which was inspired by South Africa's authentic pride, kwaito music. The album was well received at that time and continued to grow on many other listeners as it aged, that many fans/supporters have been begging for a new body of work from Nyovest.
In 2020, Cassper Nyovest followed up with a brand new album titled "Any Minute Now" which is still charting to this day. Earlier this year, the rapper took to Twitter to announce that he is in the mood to release at least two projects this year because there is just a whole load of music sitting in the archives while the new songs are being recorded almost daily.
Last night, Nyovest teased his fans/supporters with a tweet quoting "The album is beautiful!!!! #SweetAndShort2" with the hashtag hinting that the follow up of the 2018 body of work is what's next for his supporters.
