One of the pioneers of the new wave of SoundCloud era, Lethabo Acid returns to the hip-hop streets after his two year musical hiatus. The rapper broke out on the internet in 2016 with his former hip-hop crew TREEHOUSE which was formed in 2015 with the likes of J Molley, Wanda & FettiboyJim, and since then, Lethabo Acid's name has been big within the original new wave community.
Lethabo Acid dishes out his debut album titled "Anti Hero Complex" which explores alternative sounds in hip-hop. The 11-tracker album features Money Badoo and Louis Blac, with profound production from NotBenjamin, Neese, Brizzy Savage, Janky J, Langie Biitz, Inferno, Kindlynxsh and Ezechiel. Lethabo Acid transcends as a musical artist describing his album feeling as “a spirit leaving the body and ascending” which he wishes to leave his supporters/listeners with.
It feels good, it feels like I’m giving people a piece of me. I feel like I’m opening up and allowing people into a world I’ve created. A new experience of where I’m at sonically, mentally and how I perceive my reality. We’re all unique and have travelled different journeys. I’m allowing people to take a look through a sonic scope into mine. – Lethabo Acid mentioned.
