Representing King William’s Town, Flash iKumkani has worked with Emtee, J-Smash, Chad Da Don and Lolli. His single “Mhluzi” reached number 1 spot on The Stir Up’s Local Top 5 chart on 5FM; the song also reached number 3 on Metro FM’s Absolute 5 chart. The song was sitting at number 3 on trufm’s Top 30 chart, also reached number 1 on Cape Town TV’s Hype It Up Top 5 chart. The song earned him number 3 on MTV Base’s Freshman Top 5 playlist.
