It's no regular Friday as Yanga Chief pulls through all armed for New Music Friday.

Following his award winning EP, Becoming A Pop Star, Yanga Chief finally launches the pre-order to his debut album Pop Star, in which he celebrates his Xhosa royalty as he collaborates with praised South African designer, Laduma Ngxokolo, of MXHOSA on a ‘masklava’ (a combination of a mask and a balaclava) piece for the cover of Pop Star. The "uTatakho" rapper also reveals the official album track-list which boasts features from Langa Mavuso, Maglera Doe Boy, Frank Casino, SaveMilli, as well as Thabsie. 

On the first single, "BBAF," Yanga Chief flexes his incredible Xhosa influenced rap cadence, and deep dives into how he perceives the industry and his position in it.
