Following the announcement of his highly anticipated EP, MAMA, to be released on all major streaming platforms on Friday, 2 October 2020, MUZI will premiere an exclusive online listening session on Thursday 01 October on his official Youtube channel . The 6-track extended play will be a !K7 / WE.THE.BUNDU release. Produced during lockdown in South Africa, the project is a sonic homage to the artist’s late mother, MaKhoza, who was instrumental in MUZI’s early musical development.
MUZI fans will enjoy a two-hour unrestricted and uninterrupted window (7pm – 9pm CAT) to experience the listening session worldwide. In keeping to the style of his consistently oversubscribed listening session events, the artist will break down each track on the MAMA EP detailing the production process, inspirations and will follow with a LIVE Q&A with MUZI on his official Instagram page from 9.30pm to 10.30pm CAT.
In addition to the global release of the MAMA EP on Friday 02 October, the official music video for MaKhoza shot by Clout Killed the Kids will premiere - also on MUZI's official Youtube channel.
