Upcomer from KZN known by his rap name Venomraps decided to treat us to his birthday drop with a 4-track EP named after his mother's name "Penelope's Son". Venomraps shows us his lyrical and storytelling side with all 4 songs, having to give us melodramatic sonics with skits sampled at the beginning and towards the end of the songs to complete the messages he is trying to send out. Very gritty, unapologetic raps to make his presence felt. All I can say is, DON'T sleep on the Venomraps, he might just be very instrumental in shifting of the new generational hip-hop, stuck to his lyrical rap roots. A rare breed of fresh talent.
