Mykyle and G-Frequency created the "StreetCred Mixtape" concept in October 2019 to help unite a movement of talented artists, with internet clout, who represent the new wave of music. Each artist was handpicked by Mykyle to help him curate the sound and energy he wanted to carry out on the whole mixtape, and represent the diversity of this music culture he calls "STREETCRED". The mixtape is so epic because it embraces artists from Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Nigera and even London. Mykyle and G-Frequency shine the light on some amazing female musicians on the mixtape for everyone to pay attention to, namely; Cape Town's Dee Koala & Hanna, Tyla and the "All My Friends" hit-maker Money Badoo.

Mykyle also co-produced most of the songs on the "StreetCred Mixtape" and the pleasure to work alongside super producers from the new generation; Ceazor, Lincoln, CXDY, 808Sallie, NotBenjamin, Fabricano, CXDY, Blue7Flame and Kindly Nxsh.

The G-Frequency team had a private launch night for the mixtape where all 29 artists shared the stage to perform and give everyone who was invited a feel of the refreshing sounds that's about to land. Having ourselves, DJ Speedsta, Ms Cosmo, PH, DEEXCLSV, the Punchline crew and many more.

The 29 Artists featured on the "StreetCred Mixtape" include Mykyle, VegasXCesar, Lucasraps, Tellaman, Thxbi, Hanna, Straffiti from Nigeria, Dee Koala, BurningForestboy, SiXiazi, Tyla, Costa Titch, MoneyBadoo, Lastee, CrownedYung, Benny Chill, ShouldBeYuang, VVS Nerve, McKay Gram, J Clu, Dam4Starr, 45 Degrees, Denimadic, Major Steez, Kindly Nxsh, Sulcio Guapo, Sean Swerve, Psycho Trap, & Roman Cigar.
