Espiquet mentioned the he was inspired by his surroundings and his experience in Cape Town as soon as he landed in the Mother City. Espiquet and his producer Hopemasta went into the studio that very same day and Espiquet managed to lay the two verses on one go with the chorus inspired by their flight trip to Cape Town "Airplane Mode."
