Who gets to define what is cool and what is not? Society has skewed things to be seen and accepted when the majority is doing it, and the different is not acknowledged or rather seen as "uncool." In return, people will succumb to these societal standards even knowing very well that they'd rather be or do something else. What a sad way to live.
Making a return into the game, the Wolf comes out, and it's had enough of the fakeness and what is deemed as "cool." Releasing the first single off his upcoming EP, The Return, Aewon Wolf states how he doesn't wanna be cool on "COOL Kids." Honest and relatable, the track against to the stereotypes that qualify people to be "cool" and "trendy" all while trying to fit into the social and celebrity lifestyle. Using satirical content to further support the lyrics, the video also conveys a rather nostalgic feel as it portrays references of the old TV shows we grew up watching. Not only is he back, but he comes with the content that matters. Peep Aewon Wolf's latest dope piece of art below;
