It is natural for one to fear their own power when they don't see what lies inside it. However, with the aid and support from those that surround them, that fear can easily be dismissed. A classic example comes with the story of Khulane Morule, otherwise known as Khuli Chana. Kicking off his career with his two mates, Kaygizm and Towdeemac (Morafe), he has revealed that going solo was his biggest fear, one of which he had to overcome by learning to stand alone.
After close to 15 years in the game, the MotswakOriginator steps into the balcony for the very first time after the release of his fourth studio album, Planet of the Have Nots. In an era where everyone is fighting to fit in with the current and what's popping at the moment; Khuli Chana's voice is a constant one and he projected it effortlessly in his new offering, after feeling imprisoned by his own legacy. Speaking on the impact he had initially wanted the album to make, Khuli engages Slikour on the reception it received matching exactly those of his expectations. A pure Khuli Chana soundtrack and story, he did not hold back on relating his personal life onto Planet of the Have Nots. This includes the relationship he had with the late HHP, of whom he raps about on the album intro. Going into detail on their brotherhood, Khuli speaks on Jabba being the foundation of his career and more. Press play below for the first part of the Balcony Interview with Khuli Chana;
