The #CashlessSociety Visuals By @ReasonHD & @ginger_trill Are Finally Out

By @Nokulunga_Maqubela on 11/22/2019 in Music Video

"Cashless Society" depicts life in South Africa post apartheid. Not where the privileged are, but where the black majority still suffers from the burns caused by the apartheid era. Because in all honesty, not much has changed.

Rapping; "I'm from a cashless society/ The biggest part of the economy/ Where poverty is the equality," Reason goes out to his hometown, Katlehong, to further put emphasis on the lives lived by people ekasi as a result of segregation. Reason also shows the "nyaope homies" he rapped about on his Swizz Beatz and Sbongile Khumalo featured "Azania." Shot in monochrome, representing the bottom our people are still trapped in; he is joined by fellow lyricist Ginger Trill, who also acts out and delivers his verse on the track.
