We're in the 13th episode baby!!! And we've got mics now, talk about progress.
Ayanda MVP and Slikour step in once again to hear out the cries and triumphs of South African hip hop, and man the streets keep talking. We won't lie though, this episode is more of a deep one. But Ayanda MVP and Slikour start off easy as they call AKA to compliment him on his diamond status. The call shortly took a turn though, as the AKA hands over the phone and puts Ayanda in a very awkward situation. Since Supa Mega has been playing father Christmas with the SneAKA, the What SA Hip Hop Said duo try to score some kicks.
As much as independence may be glamorized, it's not all roses on the surface. One person who knows all about this is the independent rapper, and style queen, Nomoozlie. She engages Ayanda MVP and Slikour on the difficulties and challenges that come with being an independent artist. The fruits are purely visible though as Moozlie continues to secure the bag in her own way with her new shoe deal. You've probably seen those sexy images she's been sharing on he socials.
Before dropping some jewels that had Ayanda suggesting to Slikour to start a new show addressing the real world to artists, the pair tried to reach out to The Big Hash as well as Muzi. Hopefully they'll reach them on the next episode. But for now though, check out the fresh new episode of What SA Hip Hop Said hosted by Ayanda MVP and Slikour below;
