The Young O.G's PJay and Tkay return for part 2 of 'In The Stu' with Slikour. Having started on a lighter note, taking about their project ASPEN2, and relationships with other musicians they've worked with, part 2 sees them go deeper into not just their project, but their lives and the rap culture in general.
Taking us on an emotional roller-coaster, the chat starts off as a fun ball, but as B3nchMarQ gets deep into the music, it takes a turn. Relaying their truth in the music they produce, conversations flow better when you feel like you know a musician just by listening to their music, this case is the same with B3nchMarQ. As we got to know them through the music, their lives are further explored as Slikour engages them. Both fathers to young girls, PJay and Tkay share how raising a daughters is like in the current age we're living in. They then go into detail about the struggle and depression that art comes with, especially as independent artists. Calling out other rappers on "capping" on their music, the hip hop duo confronts this, as they ask musicians to share their real life stories. As tense as it got, part 2 of 'In The Stu' with B3nchMarQ is thought provoking too. Watch it below;
