Sounding more African than ever before, for his third album, Solo sounds at home with his music. Once speaking on finally finding his own structure from his 10 year long music career, C.Plenty.Dreams is the embodiment of that idea, which was perfectly executed as far as production and subject matter is concerned.
Consisting of 12-tracks, C.Plenty.Dreams features a variety of musicians such as Langa Mavuso who slides us straight into the album with just the right amount of hype and kick-start needed to get into it with "See Plenty Dreams." I couldn't have placed any other track on the intro. On this, not only do we get an introduction to the album, but a window is opened into Solo's life and history. Other features include Buks, who appears twice on the album, Dineo, as well as Kwesta, each bringing in their own sound and energy, matching that of Solo. So musical, reflective, and honest. If you're looking for a vibe, you'll find it on here too. I certainly enjoyed listening to this album. As the world's best chefs say you can taste the love in really good food, we can definitely feel the pride and compassion that has been put in the making of C.Plenty.Dreams. Have a listen below;
