@GlobalRickJade Debuts #Bonita Music Video & Announces Pregnancy

In March 2019, we hosted Rick Jade, comprised of Bontle Modiselle and Priddy Ugly, as the SlikourOnLife cover story. It is with great pleasure to share that the musical duo is expecting their first child. True to their artistic efforts, instead of simply announcing that they were expecting, they've debuted a new music video for their latest song, "Bonita."

Written in ode to their unborn child and Bontle, the release of "Bonita" is the musical birth announcement and album announcement that their fans deserve. The video sees Rick Jade moving about different art installations, all the while Bontle shoots her maternity images. More so, adding the extra "how sweet" moment is that the song is primarily performed in Portuguese, one of Priddy Ugly's home languages. 

Shot by Cidex Films, the video is sound and steady. While there are moments where light changes that render the colours muted in some shots versus others, the spirit of oneness is still maintained in the on-set chemistry of Rick Jade. Take a look at the music video below!
