Rhymes & @ReasonHD Engages @MrCashtime On The Rationale Behind His Catalogue

By @MisaNarrates on 08/08/2019 in Rhymes & Reason

K.O. and South Africa's hip-hop scene are synonymous. According to K.O., when having heavy bars was in fashion, he handled that with finesse. As the tides changed towards perfecting melodies in hip-hop, he says he surfed that wave too. In the latest episode of Rhymes & Reason, K.O. unpacks his career and influences.

You may not expect K.O. to be comic, but this episode, in particular, is loaded with laughter and storytelling. When K.O. goes into his time with Teargas to his journey into his solo career, the conversation is nostalgic, comic, and informative. As soon as the "Shit You Said" segment began, the "Supa Dupa" rapper seemed to be embarrassed and followed up by saying that he may just have to skip a few questions if they're too hot. Nevertheless, he spoke candidly on why some of his lyrics are so raw and graphic to an extent. You have to see it to believe it, so take a look at episode three of Rhymes & Reason!
