"I'm a lyricist, why the f**k would you call me a femcee?"
It's officially Women's Month, and for that reason, we're bragging different. Presenting some of the dopest emcees (not femcees) for the entire month of August, we kick it off with singer, song-writer, performer and rapper, Nandile. Attacking when you least expect it, she comes to you as a surprise. At the first glance, she's soft, until she opens her mouth then you need to prepare for cover, 'cause yo, you're about to get it. Described as something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected; she calls her debut album "The Anomaly," and that's exactly what she is. On the 7-track well-balanced offering, she invites us into her space and life. This will probably be the best thing you've heard in a long time, do yourself a favour and peep the album below;
Now back to why we're here; we had Nandile grace us with her presence as she stepped into the Spotlight. What we did not expect though, was her totally stealing it from us, she now owns it, and we can't blame her, it's the bars. As she goes "Bar for Bar," Nandile ushers us into Women's Month; and shows us how sh*t is done. Press play;
