It's new music Friday, and Sliqe came through for moral support as he drops a surprise EP *inserts dancing emoji*. Although he did tease the drop of the "Jiggy Tape," what he has now dropped is completely different, apart from the number of songs, minus one.
We almost done with the mix/master for the “Jiggy Tape”

Kennel Room comes prior to the highly anticipated sequel to Sliqe's debut album, Inja Yam Vol.1. The DJ and producer decided to bless us with a young intro to Inja Yam Vol.2. Termed "Jiggy Tape," Kennel Room is an ode to the streets and a dedication to avid local hip hop lover who yearn for a fresh sound. Consisting of two tracks, the first "My Blood," features Yanga Chief, Farx and the rap Zingah, it makes sense to have the Lord of the Jig on this, if you listen to it you'll know why. Housing artists with diverse flows and character, although it's only two tracks, the diversity makes the tape rich. On a trappy vibe, "Crickets," is the "new age jig." Featuring 6thAve, he delivers a smooth flow on a Lunatik production. Sliqe mentioned that production gives him the pleasure of bringing the actual idea he has in mind to life, not a rendition of his original idea. With that said, it raises more anticipation of what is to come on Inja Yam Vol.2. But in the meantime, peep the brand new Kennel Room below for your new music Friday.
