In his latest single, "Nomungathini," Stilo Magolide confirms what all of us experience around payday...there is no sleep in the face of money. Predominantly performed in isiZulu, the beat of Stilo's newest drop has a "good times and sunshine" feel to it. Lyrically, the track celebrates the fact that he'll be a hood gent until the very end, but that he still knows how to ball out like the best. He comments on not necessarily needing new friends, but being very comfortable with rolling with his homies.
With this track, he's clearly dabbled in that predominantly unchartered area where rappers rap over pop like beats. This isn't to diminish the value of the track, but to note that this is the type of song that could be received by even the least hip-hop head type of person.
