South Africa, stand up for the one and only champion of Limpopo, Sho Madjozi! The "Huku" hit-maker just bagged her first BET Award at the 2019 BET Awards Show!
Madjozi was the only South African nominated for Best New International Act, and in a flurry of tears and bright colourful braids, she accepted her award from Terrence J Howard. Limpopo Champions League is a mere six months old, and already it has taken the artist so far. Executive produced by pH, the country has celebrated the win on social media all morning. Check out what a few of her peers and fans had to say about her win below. In addition, check out the full list of winners further down!
