The 25th South African Music Awards are around the corner and they do things differently this year. Choosing two hosts for each decade of music since the awards started in the 90's until recent. Bringing in the nostalgia and leading us into the current times. Among the hosts, hip hop's favourite chana, Khuli, will relive the moments that made the 2000's such a vibrant period in local music, across all genres. Hosting alongside Khuli will be Lesedi FM host Twasa.
The awards are set to take take place on the 1st of June in Sun City, airing live on TV at 8pm. Other hosts include veterans Melanie Bala and Bob Mabena for the 90's era, as well as Nomzamo Mbatha and Mpho Popps for the period after 2010 to current. In the Planet of the Have Nots, we know Khuli Chana has a dope gig this weekend. Big Up!
When we said we were going big, we meant it! These are your hosts for #SAMA25! Don’t forget to get your tickets and get to see these faves on stage! pic.twitter.com/iQkDFisNaY
