The Sobering Podcast is definitely treating their listeners with fresh episodes this month. Usually, The Sobering publishes a podcast once a month, however last week they dropped one with Mark Mac and Katlego Malatji, and this week they've invited DJ Speedsta.
For those who don't already know, Speedsta started DJ'ing as a high school student and today he works in radio, television, and has continued on to be a hitmaker in South Africa's music scene. In the podcast, he takes listeners through his origin story from the days where he wasn't necessarily the best DJ. While he doesn't have a published biography out, Speedsta is candid about how he became the entertainer we know today.
On top of speaking on his own story, the group gets into the happenings of South Africa's music industry as well. Consider this podcast a mini-lesson in how to come up, if you will. We won't give too much away, so you'll have to listen below!
