@adidasZA, @shekhinahd, & @RealDJLag Collaborate For "Anywhere We Go"

When brands and artists pair up, the collaboration can either be seamless or turbulent. When the skills of the artists are poorly used, the brand might look less strategic than they hoped. In the case of adidas working with Shekhinah and DJ Lag, their collaboration was well executed.

Last week, their song, "Anywhere We Go," dropped along with the music video. In the music video, a man dressed in adidas tracksuit pants and the new Nite Jogger shoes danced to Lag and Shekhinah's new track. The song has the feeling of a soundtrack, for instance, as if there was an epic victory moment in a film. Aside from the video's pristine editing and production, the storyline of the video is difficult for the average viewer to decipher. However, we'll let our SlikourOnLife fam determine whether this one is a hit or miss. 

With regards to the actual song, "Anywhere We Go," Shekhinah sounds great vocally, and DJ Lag outdid himself with the beat.
