@Shouldbeyuang Just Dropped New Music To Expect In His Moshpit

By @MisaNarrates on 05/21/2019 in Music

South African youth have made moshpits a standard at any urban function hosted across the country. The musicians that provide the sound and energy for these crowds include Riky Rick, J Molley, and more. However, in their league is one more and he goes by the name of Yuang.

Getting into his sound requires openness to what's different and an inclination towards a more niche sub-genre of hip-hop/rap music. With his latest drop, "Kang Lau Shek," listeners hear Yuang rapping to a clearly moshpit oriented beat. Interestingly enough, one of the commenters on Soundcloud expressed their excitement to enter a moshpit with this song. Lyrically, there is merit to Yuang's pen, albeit if he continues making music, fans can only hope for growth and further development in subject matter. Sonically, the beat is solid, featuring a bassline that hits you in the chest. An added bonus with this track is that Yuang's vocals never become secondary to the beat, however, there are moments when playing the song on a speaker where one considers that there is a bit of sound distortion here and there. Whether or not this is intentional is unknown at the moment, however, what stands is that the song is worth an add to your moshpit playlist. Listen to "Kang Lau Sheck," below!
