Signing a deal as an artist, no matter where they are in their career is always a big moment. For Tiwa Savage, the moment has come as the news of her signing to Universal Music Group hits the public. "My biggest goal is to make Africa proud. I’m so excited for this moment and I’m thankful to Sir Lucian Grainge and my new UMG family for their belief in my dreams," Tiwa says.
The "If I Start To Talk" entertainer has had a stellar run in her music career, and now, with the support of UMG we can only expect Tiwa to reach newer heights. With her deal comes the news of her new executive producers will be Efe Ogbeni of Regime Music Societe and Vannessa Amadi-Ogbonna. The former Berklee College of Music student is known for her live arrangements as well as her studio work, and to get to give people the entertainment they deserve, Tiwa will bring the northern hemisphere's summer 2019 to head with what we anticipate will be stellar performances at festivals like the UK's Wireless Festival, Afropunk Paris, and Amsterdam's Oh My! Festival.
Tiwa last performed in South Africa for the Global Citizen Festival in 2018, but hopefully, this new deal makes more opportunity for her to come back!
