Even though a track may be titled as an "interlude," how short the track is may still come as a surprise. That was my reaction while watching the music video for Ricky Tyler's "Alter Ego (Interlude)." The video opens with him seated in a green-tiled bathroom, stationery for nine seconds, thus building up hype for the remainder of the visual.
Shot and directed by Kyle Keyz, the music video sees Ricky delivering his verses atop his wood and porcelain throne. Dressed in a blue jacket, that conveniently matches the tile design, a black poloneck, studs, a gold chain, black jeans, and black kicks, Ricky Tyler is well styled in the video. Granted, the studs would have been better matched to the chain if they were gold as well, but overall the look made sense.
The music video only whets the appetite of the viewer and closes with "SMALL WORLD." Whatever he has coming next is worth remaining tuned in. For now, check out "Alter Ego" in motion, below!
