You may not know Espacio Dios, but maybe you should. His notoriety in South Africa's SoundCloud community, particularly among Johannesburg based artists, on top of his existing talent, makes him one worth your attention. After the release of his nine-track EP, Percussive Planet, Espacio is back with another song to add to your playlists.
"Seêmô" is a percussion-laden track, featuring sounds that hearken to sounds that listeners would easily identify as a part of South African sonic motifs. Calling the track a love song wouldn't suit the nature of the lyrical content altogether. However, Espacio does tell the story of two lovers and the challenges they face in determining how to conduct themselves in love, or perhaps 'strong liking.' With this song, in particular, one can't help but notice the fact that the vocals of this track are noticeably lower than the backing track. While every artist has creative freedom, instances like this do impede the listener's ability to grasp the depth of any lyrical content put forward. When considering Espacio Dios's musicality, however, the strength of the instrumentals of his music often are what set him apart from his musical counterparts.
