Burna Boy is fatherly and lamenting in his newest music video for "Thuggin/Darko." In the first half of the black and white visuals, Burna Boy is depicted tending to two toddlers before lovingly engaging an elderly mother figure. The first indication that he may be involved in illicit dealings is when he's captured angrily shouting into the phone. Later, Burna fist fights someone only to turn and see his friend gunned down via a shot to the abdomen. Dancers, clothed in white, surround him and the body of the deceased in sync, reminiscent of scenes from Daughters Of The Dust or Beyonce's "Formation" music video. This extends viewers to the second half of the music video wherein the funeral proceedings of Burna's friend.
