Zakwe, Stogie, and Jay Claude stand amidst a circle of men as they share and extend their “Roots” to those that come after them. “Wildlife lessons, every death gave me life, stillborn, so me and Christ share a likeness” StogieT raps on the song as he shares his life on the first verse. Looking back on his journey in music, Zakwe reflects on the lessons learned. He further extends by offering pearls of wisdom to those that want to embark on the same road he’s taken. Jay Claude adds his soothing flavour to the song as he jumps on the hook, and makes it a memorable one.
