Eastern Cape breeds, M2KaNE and PdotO team up for the former's latest single "I Don't Want The Crown." M2KaNE makes a stern statement for his name and art to be left out of props, industry lists, and any other form of ranking in the game.
See, M2KaNE is not looking for anyone's validation with this rap thing 'cause this is his life and no one can possibly have a say about it. He and Pdot jump on the sombre beat which carries his sentiments very well as they rap with ease about their own comfort in who they are. This sentiment is not uncommon with many a rapper resolving to dance to their own tunes instead of going along with what "the game" subscribes for a successful career. It's refreshing to hear more and more young artists affirm themselves because the age old co-sign is no longer a prerequisite to finding your way to the music scene.
