Riky Rick entertained listeners with his 2017 Stay Shining hit single, “Buy It Out.” A mere two years later, and after the success of his first annual Cotton Fest, the rapper’s song has gone double platinum! This news also comes as a win for Gemini Major, who worked on the track alongside King Kotini.

Riky vaguely alluded to new music coming our way in his Cotton Fest Essentials sit down. He cited that Michaelangelo took four years to create a now iconic work of art. He continued by noting how he, too, takes a similar amount of time to debut a project. Since then, the rapper graced Mlindo The Vocalist’s track, “You And I,” on Valentine’s Day, which only makes fans believe there may be more to come from him this year. For now, Riky and Gemini are, rightfully, basking in their glory; so fans will have to wait for a bit before there’s news of any more music to come.
