Now that we are almost three months into the new year, we can’t really say “Happy New Year!” However, Nouveaux just dropped their first mix of 2019, so the year does feel new! While 50 Cent has been trolling more than rapping of late, the mix opens with his classic “In da Club.” The tempo of this mix is moderately slower than the original tempos of some of the songs featured. Aptly titled “Bops R Us,” Nouveaux gave listeners nothing but bops, like “Sweetest Taboo” à la Sade, in addition to some newer tracks like Rihanna’s “Work.” Have a listen to what this DJ duo put forward as their first offering of the year!
