The #NBAAllStar Weekend Was Star-Studded With SA's Finest

By @MisaNarrates on 02/18/2019 in News

This past weekend the NBA hosted their annual All-Star festival, commonly referred to as the NBA All-Star Weekend. The festival includes exhibitions, games, as well as performances, plus it’s star-studded. This year, some of South Africa’s finest were in attendance as part of the African Contingent for the NBA.

Shout out to Scoop Makhathini for keeping his covering the star-studded spectacle for the people at home. In addition to the celebrities pictured above, musicians like Da L.E.S, Cassper Nyovest, and Loyiso Gola, to name a few, were also in attendance. While seeing Africa presented at the NBA All Star weekend is commendable, the best part of their visit is the news of the Basketball Africa League set for 2020. Cassper Nyovest has already endorsed the move, with the “Monate Mpolaye” rapper saying, “a whole league? Never saw that happening. This is big!!!
