It's official, Priddy Ugly and Bontle Modiselle's "Rick Jade" is not just a moniker for their love story but in fact introduces the concept of the two sweethearts as a musical duo. After we saw the beautiful illustration that M4RK did for their new music, they now deliver a 2 track EP comprising of 2 dancehall influenced numbers, one featuring KLY. Yesterday, Bontle took to her social media to share a dance video that she and Priddy did in anticipation of their EP and boy, oh boy did it stir some excitement. First of all, can we also get the spell for the ability to move like that?

Coming to the 2 track EP collectively produced by frsh.citizen's Hercule$, Moxi, and Wichi 1080, they open with a dreamy "I Want It" that kind of picks up from the rhythms we heard in Priddy Ugly's infectious "Look Alike." Bontle's sweet vocals fit right into the mood of the song making this combo a seamless one, but of course, how can it not be? "Sumtin New" carries on with an island allure in its sound as the pair deepen the mood to a sexy party accompanied by KLY's seasoned vocals on such rhythms. We're totally excited about Rick Jade exploring this sound even further in their future releases, more over the visual ways in which these elements can take life.
