The conversation of opening up the industry has resurfaced, multitudes of people are voicing out their opinions on how they want to see new faces and hear new voices instead of the same people that make the rounds on the mediums. There are plenty talented individuals -each different in their own way- who seek a break into the entertainment industry, and although it may be open to everyone, not all will make it through.
The question is, who guides these individuals? Do they have someone who will be honest with them that indeed the path they are embarking on is the one they ought to be on? Or maybe what they could improve on. Mr Cashtime, KO, plays big brother as he lends an ear and wise counsel, as per his experience in the game, to rappers that hope to make it into the industry. Through a series of tweets, he dedicated his time to listen to their music and revert with honest feedback, Simon Cowell style.
Hope you’re not fragile coz I’m gonna give you a raw take ????????♂️... I listened to 100kilos, you sound like you trying to be someone you’re not - that ain’t real. Nothing unique in that EP, go back and find yourself. That intro beat kinda goes though https://t.co/spLSyaBxQR

Nice touch with the Blackstreet interpolation in the beat but, your vocal tone an diction aren’t capturing enough. Rewrite the song in mostly vernac and hear how it comes. https://t.co/BBYcffnIe1

You misled me bro. I personally dont even hear the artist in you to be honest, the beat is ok but what y’all did vocally ???? is sonically wrong. Music might not be your strength fam and I say that with love ???????? https://t.co/gxHmQWHnlr

The music has a more original appeal compared to your vocal talent bro... that is not a beat to rap to btw, the melodic harmonies in the intro made the record sound promising, then the raps came ????. If those are your raps then eish ????????♂️ https://t.co/vN1ELRID9K

From Zambia? Might have to find a way of making the music represent where you’re from first coz that sounds like another Travis Scott attempt. The flow is there in the raps but we need more originality from you too https://t.co/52y8wbrc9k

No originality here neither bro. Find yourself https://t.co/e2kFCBGQv3

Your confidence is admirable. But my advice will save you the agony of being mocked for this type of penmanship fam. Love ???????? https://t.co/OWZJ0Zi620

I kinda like this. Penmanship ✅ vocal tone ✅ music ✅
