Tsonga rapper, Dala Fam, makes a return to his #DalaFamFridays series where he drops a song every week and he kicks off the year with yet another champion's anthem. "Nomakanjhani" is a song about resilience, a trait we should all admit Dala has.
He continues to push the envelope of Tsonga rap by proving that it too can be just as fun, consumable, and engaging as he mixes it up with English throughout the song. He raps about being taken for granted, yet again, a lament that is consistent in a lot of his songs. Despite being overlooked, however, Dala plans to keep the ball rolling and continue to win. I will say that the song could've done without Roy Machel in the opening as I feel, in my humble opinion, that he does need to work on his craft a bit more. I will, however, leave all that to you to decide how you feel about the track.
