It's time to shake the industry and Cape Town's iLLRow is already on the ball with that mission as he opens the year with a menacing piece titled Concrete Jungle. The track sounds like the makings of an action packed movie scene and I think ilLRow did that on purpose.
The grungy rapper is throwing lyrical punches with diverse flows as he ducks and dives to the sound of the heavy beat. If boxing had a sound, this would be the best example of what the pacy sport translates to in audio format. iLLRow raps about independence and making it by any means necessary in a wilderness where circumstances are not always favourouble to an artist of his kind. This wilderness is the music game by the way. We must commend iLLRow for his consistency and dedication since graduating from the 2017 Slikour Onlife Incubator class. He's gone on to follow up his appearance with numerous projects and singles that continue to carve his name slowly in the rap scene. 2019 Will serve no difference, it's up-up and away for the lethal rapper.
