It's been a very good year for SA hip hop on the music front. Not only did we receive plenty of new music via singles, we also got numerous artists deciding to step up and release full scale projects. As we are at the tail end of the year, Blaklez, who also dropped an album earlier this year, decides to give us a brand new single titled Blak Xmas II to vibe to this festive season.
Whilst most artists choose to unleash upbeat bangers in December, Lez decides to take the road less travelled and releases a mellow joint. Jumping on a sample backed Beat Mochini production, Blaklez expresses his gratitude to the game for the year that he's had. The Cap City rapper hardly disappoints when it comes to lyricism and this song is no exception as it sees him deliver some witty punchlines right through. Certainly, as we all reflect on the year we have things to be grateful for and Lez sets the tone for us in his brand new tune. Peep the new single below.
