By @Spokenpriestess on 12/10/2018 in Red Couch

We sit down with uTatakho, Yanga Chief, to talk about his music journey right from his recent silence some months back up to how he actually started putting music out some years ago.

Yanga talks to us about how he got involved in film making before fully pursuing music, along with letting us in on his "North side" affiliations and relationships. Taking us home, he gives us details of his upbringing, touching on where he got his calling for music from. Talking about the business of music, Yanga details his subjects of focus at present as he sets up for the pending release of his upcoming EP, Becoming A Popstar. Get to know the Neighbourhood Genius below and look out for the second instalment of this conversation.
