Big K.R.I.T has just released his second project of the year and they are less than a month apart. The rapper follows up to his three track Thrice X EP released a few weeks back with a new project titled Double Up. This project is even briefer than the last with only two songs in Learned From Texas and Pick Yourself Up. The more modern energetic feel on Learned From Texas will make it the likely popular jam of the two.
The track is a big up by the rapper to his home state, Texas, and southern music culture. It might not be a banger but the bounce on the instrumental and hype chorus makes it a dance friendly jam. K.R.I.T's verse pays homage to the low rider vehicle culture that was brought to hip hop prominence by southside artists like UGK and Pimp C. Peep the track below and let us know your thoughts.
